Since Uncle Steve only announced the MacBook Air today in his Keynote speech, I went ahead and opened the box of my brand new laptop, which had been kept closed, "just in case"... lol

I am IN LOVE!!!

Today started as a great day... I went to school (yes I have a saturday class) for my Architectural Drawing class... as I was driving back I went shopping, exchanged a pair of pants, and I was having a blast...

Then as I was driving (in my new car) down Flagler St, and something hit my rear window! it shattered into millions of pieces...

I must have some sort of car curse...

Project 365- January 11th

TGIF! Went to the bookstore across campus today to return a book... and ran into this awesome cat! he purred when I pet him and he followed me all down the line (which was long).

Other than that a pretty plain friday... sigh!

I have to do an in depth analysis of the Library at Phillip Exeter Academy by Louis I. Kahn, and The Schroeder House, by Gerrit Rietveld.

I had my first class at MDC, and I enjoyed it! The professor is great and I have some cool people in the class so I'm happy.

School is back in session!

First day back at FIU, History of Architecture 2 and Calculus for Business, Monday Wednesday Friday...

Fun huh?

I have to admit I do like my professors this semester... we'll see if I feel the same about my MDC Professors tomorrow! lol

Project 365- January 6th

Today was a really weird day... I was at work all day (Sunday) and I felt shaky... maybe nerves for school starting tomorrow or maybe for my new jewelry endeavor... really freaky day until I got home and started my antiquing! so exciting... lots of chemically induced fun...lol

Finally a day off!! A whole day of doing absolutely nothing (except some laundry and watching TV). Nothing better than being lazy all day with my babe... especially since classes start on Monday and I'll have NO free time...

I went shopping today! I really felt like I needed to do something for myself, and after watching too much America's Next Top Model on VH1, I wanted to be more FIERCE!
I ended up getting two fabulous scarves, a bag for school, some cool earrings and a really simple turtleneck... I felt fantastic! nothing like retail therapy...

Project 365- January 3rd

Today was my court date. I have been dreading this day since I was in a car accident October 23rd. Finally today, after the judge made a mistake and there was a little mix up, she gave me no traffic school and no points on my license... reason enough to celebrate!

This photo is for the first day cold enough to wear a scarf! It was the coldest it has been all year, so I felt it necessary to break out my winter gear. (scarce since I live in Miami) I also chose this photo because it shows the interior of my new car! very exciting day... although I was leaving for work...

Project 365! New Years Resolution- January 1st

This new post marks the beginning of a new adventure. I am very excited to begin to document 2008 with Project 365, a really cool way to have a tangible memory of the year. Everyday you take a photo that sums up your day and write a little entry. I really wanted to do something special as my resolution this year, and Project 365 seemed perfect!


My first entry is of course my first picture of 2008. This was an extra-special New Year's Eve. it was our first in our new home and we made plans for just the two of us... We had amazing dinner and then had some friends come over. The night could not have been more perfect!
